He then moved to the USA where he was enrolled as a student at the University of Pennsylvania. At this point, he invented the game world link, which helped him earn $400,000 by the year 1988. After graduating, in 1988, he relocated to California and started to work on his business, x.com.

It was the time that the internet was in a boom and a lot of people were launching their own businesses online. x.com was among them. Unfortunately, in 2000 the company was purchased from PayPal which was then Elon Musk was named chief executive of PayPal.

However, PayPal wasn’t the sole thing Elon Musk was working on. In 2001, he established an organization called space x which aimed to allow commercial space travel. The company eventually went under in 2002.

However, this was not the end of space x however. Elon Musk re-launched the business in 2006, and since then it has been one of the most profitable space-related companies around the globe.

Tesla

Elon Musk was also inventor and CEO of Tesla motors. Tesla is a company which manufactures electric cars. In 2008, he established Tesla and was appointed CEO of the company.
